When selecting an aircraft from the various options here are some points for you to consider. If you wish to book the R44 and the weather is not suitable on the day you will be given the option to either cancel your flight or upgrade to the Squirrel/EC120 (subject to weather and aircraft availability). For this reason we recommend booking the Squirrel/EC120 for transfers.
Squirrel/EC120
The preferred lodge choice suitable for up to three passengers in corporate comfort with business class luggage allowances of 30kgs per person with no oversize items. Or five passengers with light luggage (soft overnight bags only no suit cases). This is our most comfortable passenger helicopter especially in strong wind and conditions that may ground smaller aircraft
Robinson R44
Suitable for up to two passengers with light luggage or 3 passengers with no luggage. All passengers have a window seat with great visibility and although not as comfortable as the Squirrel this aircraft is fine for those who don’t want the expense of the Squirrel. Being a smaller helicopter it has more limitations flying in strong wind than the larger aircraft.

Passenger numbers stated above are maximum passenger numbers and are subject to passenger weights, luggage, flight distance and destination. When making your booking please give as much information as possible regarding these variables.
